The government of Funan County has reached a strategic cooperation with LiJi Intelligent Logistics Equipment Ecological Industrial Park to jointly build a new benchmark for the smart logistics industry

On April 23, 2025, the People's Government of Funan County and LiJi Intelligent Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, announcing an investment of 400 million yuan to jointly build the LiJi Intelligent Logistics Equipment Ecological Industrial Park. This cooperation is an important milestone for Funan County in deepening the "dual recruitment and dual introduction" strategy and promoting industrial upgrading, marking that the county has added a new force in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing. Hu Tianli, the county magistrate of Funan County, Wang Lei, the deputy county magistrate, and the heads of the county's Development and Reform Commission, Economic and Information Technology Bureau, Investment Promotion bureau and other departments, along with the technical director and department heads of LiJi Intelligent Equipment (Shanghai) Co., LTD., jointly attended the signing ceremony.

Government-enterprise collaboration: Empowering Industrial Upgrading with the "Funan Speed" During the initial connection, the inspection team from Funan County Government highly recognized the technical strength and market prospects of LiJi Intelligent Equipment (Shanghai) Co., LTD. Through on-site investigation of the enterprise's R&D center and production base, as well as in-depth negotiations with the technical team, both sides clarified the direction of cooperation. As a leading enterprise in the field of intelligent logistics equipment, LiJi Company possesses core patented technologies such as the non-damaging bidirectional matrix pre-sorting system, flexible linear sorting equipment, pendulum sorting system, DWS, fire telescopic machine, and single-piece separation. Project Planning: Build an intelligent logistics equipment industrial cluster According to the agreement, the LiJi Intelligent Logistics Equipment Ecological Industrial Park will be located in Funan Economic Development Zone. It is planned to build a research and development center, an intelligent manufacturing base and supply chain supporting facilities, with a focus on the production of automated sorting equipment, intelligent warehousing robots and other products. To support the implementation of the project, the Funan County Government has introduced customized support policies: • Element guarantee: Priority will be given to ensuring project land, providing rent reduction for factory buildings and subsidies for equipment purchase; • Talent Services: Establish a joint training mechanism between schools and enterprises, provide talent apartments and a green channel for children's school enrollment; • Industrial chain collaboration: Encourage local enterprises to carry out supporting cooperation with LiJi and provide special rewards for the localization of the supply chain.  

 The person in charge of the county's investment promotion bureau disclosed that Funan has formed a virtuous cycle of "attracting investment through business connections". The successful experiences of leading enterprises such as BYD and Dayao Beverage have provided replicable service models for the LiJi project. In the future, the government will continue to optimize the business environment and promote the aggregation of more high-quality projects.
